About Sweitzers Fencing Co.
Sweitzers Fencing Co. is a family based business that started in 1991. With 4 young sons growing, owner Merle Sweitzer saw the need to have some kind of business that would be able to keep the young boys busy and learn to have a good work ethic.
Owner Merle Sweitzer bought out an existing fencing business in1991 and began to do the business with one full time employee. At present, three of the four sons are full time employees and at times, a few part time helpers are added as needed. With a commitment to quality workmanship and material the business has continually grown.
We thank God for his blessing on this business. It is God who has given us wisdom to know how to run this business.

Our Mission
The mission of Sweitzers Fencing Co. is to do our work in a way that Honor’s the Lord Jesus Christ: to provide quality products and workmanship for all of our clients and to meet the needs of people who cannot build their own fence at a fair and reasonable price.
God has blessed the business so that Merle is able to be actively involved in their church leadership, also being able to travel to preach the word of God and has even traveled to Kenya numerous times for mission work.
God has opened many doors to be able to talk to people about the Lord. God has blessed the business financially so that we have been able to give liberally to others in need. We give God the glory as he gives us the ability and knowledge to do the business his way.

What We Do
Primarily building agriculture fence at first, we have continually added new products and fencing styles as requested to businesses that are located within a 50 mile radius from the Village of Cross Roads, in South Eastern York County PA.
We have been a Gallagher Power fence dealer for 14 years of business, offering their complete line of product and servicing their chargers.
In December 2004, we took on a new product line of equipment by Priefert Manufacturing. The product line carries a full line of cattle handling equipment, from squeeze chutes, alleyways, sweeps and panels to make working cattle easier. We also carry a line of horse products including stalls, saddle racks, round pens, and horse walkers. Dog kennels are another facet of this product line.
We offer a complete line of agriculture fencing including both American and New Zealand style High Tensile, different heights and styles of woven wire, Post and Board, Post and Rail, Slip Board, Coated High Tensile, Horse No Climb, Diamond Mesh, Safe Fence Tape Fence, Centaur Polymer HTP Fencing, Vinyl PVC Fencing and Fence Painting.
We also sell and install Miraco Watering Systems and Windmills from Koenders, for pond aeration and the ability to pump water.
We also offer a complete line of residential fencing: both post and board and post and rail with vinyl coated wire on to keep pets and small children safe, different styles of Cedar picket, privacy, decorative fencing and arbors, PVC Picket, Privacy, decorative fencing. PVC and Aluminum Porch Railing, and Aluminum Yard and Pool fencing.
